Outline has always been the event where I test new equipment setups. This time I got to test my new lens, the Meike MiniPrime 10mm T2.2, what a great lens! But I also shot with the Meike MiniPrime 16mm T2.2 and Sirui Nightwalker 55mm T1.2 on both the Ronin and handheld.

This time I kept it simple, shot it all on 1080p 50, I kept most of the shots on ProRes 422HQ still, but this time I skipped shooting on V-LOG, instead I shot on Panasonic’s own color profile: Cinelike Dynamic mostly to see how the internal colors look like which also saves a lot of time for me in post. This time I only did color correction. This time I only recorded about 190GB of footage in 50fps, 100fps and also 200fps for the floppy disk throwing competition.

As for other technicalities of the event, we had Panasonic HE-130K PTZ cameras and ATEM Mini Pro and in addition we had our OBS Streaming PC with us. We streamed via Scenesat.com and they re-streamed to Outline’s official twitch channel. We had a total of 150 viewers together with 90 people in the venue. Not bad for an event that uses no social media at all!

In this demoparty I was the tech lead for streaming and beam but I also planned the schedule for the live acts.
